BLM - a tribute to Black Music

In celebration of Black History Month, we've added a little more color to the site and added a few more artists.
Black History Month is celebrated in February in the United States and Canada, while in Ireland and the United Kingdom it is celebrated in October.

How is it that people with another skin color are still victims of racial discrimination, harassment, and violent attacks in almost any area on this planet?

Imagine contemporary music without the musicians, singers, and songwriters with African roots? Our world would be so incredibly much poorer.

Below is a (incomplete) list of black musicians, singers, and songwriters intended to remind us how much they have influenced the fabric of our global culture.

Behind each link in the list below is a song from the respective artist on YouTube. So put on your headphones, skip the f*** commercials and listen to a cross-section of the best that pop music has to offer. Be prepared for a journey through time that spans more than 60 years. Groove in the hall! and yeah,

I know, time's a bitch, nontheless enjoy :)
